As of early 2026, there are five communities in Monmouth County, New Jersey that have Patchwork for Wildlife™ programs. Patchwork for Wildlife is a collaborative effort between each community, local environmental groups, and residents that encourages environmentally conscious landscaping practices to create a network of connected properties that support local beneficial insects and songbirds. Native plants support the ecosystem of local wildlife, conserve water, improve soil health, reduce pest problems, and have lower maintenance costs. Yards and gardens of all sizes, formal, informal, or natural, all play a vital role in the eco-friendly nature of our community. We recognize homeowners or businesses for their commitment to their own environmentally beneficial landscape.
