MEET THE AUTHOR
I am a storyteller, a writer, an author, a triathlete, a fanatic for taking on challenges and hobbies and I am a lifelong learner.
I am also a mother, grandmother, a retired business executive, a volunteer, a teammate and competitor, a friend, and a lover of nature and pets.

I have a trunk of things I have written, some of them may have the potential to move out of the trunk. I have a compost full of ideas for stories. I can't wait to do something with them.​ I want to write more children's stories, and a memoir focusing on my experiences as a senior triathlete.

I have a lot to learn. Hooray! Bring it on. I need help in keeping my butt in the chair and my hands on the computer or pen on the notebook.
MEET THE ILLUSTRATOR
Rex Heer
Rex Heer created the illustrations for Adventure on Gallop Ghosts Islands and Cloudie with a chance of Play. Rex lives in a log cabin he built in the woods in the hills overlooking the Des Moines River Valley. In addition to his artistic endeavors (primarily painting), he is an avid hiker, photographer, and nature lover. Rex based his visual characterization of Friend Gray Fox on the occasional glimpses of a gray fox trotting through his woods.
